Here's the thing with comfort zones, they can get too comfortable! And why would anyone want to leave comfort?

Well, they don't stay comfortable for long. That comfort will soon start to drain and suck the love for life out of you. Yup, it happens!

Being OK in staying within your comfort zone, means being OK in stopping to learn and grow. Are you OK with that? No judgement. Contentment is key. And if so, you might as well stop reading here.

For those of you who are sick of the same old routine, let's keep going.

I must admit, it was always very hard for me to JUST BE. I do believe that being comfortable, content and satisfied is an important and crucial aspect of life, but only when you really put the effort to find what joy means to you.

I spent most of my 20s, in search for more excitement, adventure and opportunities to dream big.

It wasn't easy stepping outside and battling over 20 years of social and cultural conditioning. But, here I am, finally doing what I love and hoping to share something that could support you towards your growth.

1. Realize that fear is normal.

You don't step outside the comfort zone and right into growth. Actually, right outside the comfort zone, is the fear zone.

This is where most people start to change their minds, ask everyone else for validation, doubt everything and find excuses. The trick is to just keep going!

So what if you make a mistake and so what if this does not turn out to be the best decision you will ever make.

The chance is you will regret not trying much more than failing (Which means learning).

Use the fear zone to get you moving, allow it to fuel you and move you towards your dreams. Remember, the fear zone is normal and every person that steps outside their comfort, has to go through it. Some will stop and turn back, and some will keep moving. Which one are you?

2. You do not need to leave your job.

I stayed in a corporate job for 10 years - and I do not regret one bit of it.

I was teaching yoga on the side, continuously learning and attending new course, while saving a lot of money! That was the smartest thing I probably did at that time (yay me). It was very attractive to leave, take a long break, travel, and build up towards my passion, but I chose to use what I had as a gift to work on a great foundation for my future.

It is OK not to be ready to leave your 9 to 5 job and It is OK to need financial stability. However that should not stop you. Actually this is such an amazing place to be - somewhere within the comfort zone while stepping slowly into your growth.

So if you think your 9 to 5 job is stopping you from reaching your dreams, try to think this way instead "how can I make use of my time to prepare myself for the big jump?"

3. There is no such thing as "it is too late"

Another typical "fear zone excuse". What a loss it would be that you don't let yourself shine, just because fear got to you.

Think about it this way, if you actually start today, 10 years from now, you will look back and say "10 years ago I took the first step". That sounds pretty damn cool! So just start and stop wasting time coming up with new excuses.

4. "What" you do and "How" you do it might not be clear at first, and that is OK.

7 years ago, I had no idea that I will be a health & wellness coach and a Kundalini Yoga teacher (I didn't even know the word Kundalini existed and what a Health coach does). But my journey did start 7 years ago.

All I knew back then was my "WHY". I wanted to grow and connect with people on a deeper levelI wanted to support others and elevate communities. That is all! I didn't need to know more. That lead me to take my first baby steps towards yoga, wellbeing and meditation. 7 years later, I am doing exactly what I had hoped for.

When you know why you want to do something, the universe will step by step show you the direction and the tools you need to get there.

5. Start somewhere, now.

So if you don't know the what nor the how, where do you begin?

Begin with what you DO know today. If you enjoy something, take a course, take a workshop, connect deeper to the community. I loved practicing yoga so I took a course, then a second, then a workshop, then 10 more.

Just start somewhere, read a book, connect with a friend who is on a similar journey, watch a documentary, find inspiration somewhere. Take the first step! and the universe will guide you further.

Last but not least, it is time you trust your intuition. Trust that deep voice within you. Trust that every step you take will get you closer to your true purpose in a way or another. Every failure is a lesson and every day is a new chance to rise and share your light.

Do it for your older self. Do it for your spirit!

I love supporting people in connecting back to their life's purpose and true potential.
