As the days get shorter and the air turns cold and dry, it’s normal to feel more scattered, anxious, foggy or run down. In these two free rituals, an Ayurveda expert and a Kundalini yoga teacher show you how to cleanse, rebalance and reset, so you can settle your nervous system and feel grounded and nourished. It’s perfect for beginners, and you don’t need any experience.

This practice helps you…

Video 01: Ayurvedic Nasya

Cleanse & Balance

In just a few minutes, Justyna shows you how to do nasya, the ancient Ayurvedic ritual of applying warm herbal oil to the nostrils. It’s simple, step by step and easy to follow. It gently cleanses and balances, soothes the dryness autumn brings, clears the head and quiets a busy mind. You’ll learn a seasonal self-care practice you can keep coming back to all winter.

Video 02: Kundalini Breath-work

Reset & Rebalance

Jana guides you through a classic Kundalini yoga breath sequence that resets your whole system. You’ll move from calming left nostril breathing and energising right nostril breathing into balancing alternate nostril breathing, followed by Breath of Fire to clear stagnant energy and a short Sat Naam meditation to settle into stillness. You’ll come away with a lift in energy, a clearer mind and a deep sense of balance.

Are you feeling...

01

Feel anxious, overwhelmed or stuck in your head

Running from one thing to the next, with a to-do list that never ends and no time to simply breathe.

02

Want a simple seasonal self-care ritual to carry you into winter

Carrying the pressure in your shoulders, your jaw and your chest, and snapping at the people you love more than you would like to.

03

Curious about Kundalini yoga or Ayurveda and want an easy first taste from people who know it deeply

Feeling closed off from your own heart, critical of yourself, and far from the open, kind person you know you can be.

How you may feel afterwards:

  • Calmer and more grounded, with a quieter mind

  • Breathing more freely, with a clearer head

  • Lighter and energised, without feeling wired

  • More balanced emotionally, and more in charge of where your mind goes

  • Nourished and cared for, as if you’ve given yourself something real

Why these two rituals belong together

Guided Video Practice

Both practices work through the nose, which Ayurveda calls the gateway to the mind. Nasya cleanses and opens the nasal passages, and the breath series then uses them to move energy, reset your system and bring you back into balance. Each one makes the other more powerful.

Perfect for Autumn

In Ayurveda, autumn is Vata season: dry, cold, windy and always changing. That’s why many of us feel more restless, overthink more, sleep more lightly and notice dry sinuses at this time of year. Nasya cleanses, oils and grounds, and the breath resets and rebalances. Together they leave you feeling clear and calm.
